CILLDI Summer School Internship Program
We will be holding an internship information session on Friday, March 22nd at 4:15 pm in Assiniboia Hall, room 4-70. All are welcome!
The CILLDI internship program began in the summer of 2012. Our internships are flexible positions, with room for creativity and personal initiative.
CILLDI interns will be assigned to a summer school class in each block (for 2013, this will involve a time commitment of July 8th to July 26th). Intern responsibilities may include:
- Assisting students (with work, questions, etc) and providing administrative support to instructors
- Helping with the organization of social events
- Being a UofA campus ambassador: showing students from out of town where to find classes, residences, and administration buildings
- Contributing to record-keeping projects (we may ask you to take photos or video)
We welcome applicants with a wide variety of skills. While a background in Linguistics, Education, Native Studies, or Anthropology is not necessary to succeed as a part of CILLDI, a commitment to the preservation of linguistic diversity is. With this in mind, we appreciate applicants from all academic backgrounds and all levels of education.
The 2013 Internship Application Deadline is Monday March 25th
