CILLDI 2005 ran from July 25th to August 12th. Forty-seven students from Alberta, Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories, the Yukon, and Ontario were enrolled in the following courses:

EDES 401/501: Literacy and Drama in Aboriginal Language Education (Instructor Diane Steinhauer)

EDEL 496-B2/595-B2: Globalization and Indigenous Language Loss (Instructor Heather Blair)

EDEL 496-B1/595-B1: Second Language Acquisition: Teaching Indigenous Language and Literacy in an Immersion Context (Instructor Stephen Greymorning)

Languages spoken by students at the 2005 Institute included Cree, Dakota, Dene Suline, Dogrib,  Nakota, and Tlicho.
